  • In 2003, led the formation and development of the South Texas Production and Exploration Safety Network, collaborating with competitors, industry associations and regulators including OSHA to improve Health and Safety in the US Onshore E&P Industry.
  • With BP's support, marketed the network across the US to become a nationally recognized organization with eighteen regional networks within five years.
  • With BP's support, led the development and implementation of SafeLandUSA to become the first and only nationally recognized H&S orientation for US Onshore E&P.
  • During the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil spill, leveraged OSHA, NIOSH and Industry connections including PEC Premier to assist BP's response, including the training of tens of thousands of responders,requiring all responders to have a PEC ID card demonstrating completion of training.
  • The response was used as a positive example of success by OSHA Director David Michaels and other government agencies.
