Collaborated with the executive board to organize events, speaker panels, and workshops promoting sustainable finance and responsible investing. Assisted in developing project proposals and investment strategies that aligned with ESG principles. Guided and taught new members about sustainable finance. Helped lead strategic planning to expand the club’s presence and impact on campus.

Conducted research on modeling lava flow emplacement conditions on Earth and Mars. Collected and analyzed visual, topographic, and geospatial data using Google Earth Pro and JMARS, measured lava flow dimensions, and organized large datasets in Excel. Applied multiple modeling approaches, including the Standard Rheologic Approach, Self-Replication Model, and Hybrid Model, to constrain lava flow emplacement conditions. Conducted literature reviews of volcanology and planetary geology research, summarized findings, and contributed to poster presentation preparation for a scientific conference.

Led groups of teenagers on multi-day backcountry and fly fishing trips, focusing on safety, skill-building, and environmental stewardship. Taught fly casting, knot-tying, river reading, and fish-handling techniques, while promoting Leave No Trace principles. Guided wilderness travel including backpacking, camp setup, and outdoor cooking, fostering teamwork and confidence in remote settings. Provided mentorship, managed group dynamics, and ensured risk management protocols were followed throughout expeditions.
