Since joining NEISD and CBC School in September 2019, I have consistently grown professionally and taken on increasing leadership responsibilities. I began as a Specialist in the Special Education Department and later became an ALE teacher in a classroom serving six students ranging from kindergarten through sixth grade. Through my dedication and performance, I earned recognition from administrators and colleagues for my leadership, flexibility, and commitment to student success. As I continued to excel, I was selected to serve as an expert teacher for Linguistics and Spanish for sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. I also contributed to the success of our school by assisting wherever needed, including substituting in primary grade classrooms and supporting staff across multiple grade levels. My dependability, availability, and willingness to help have been consistently acknowledged and appreciated by faculty and staff members. Continuing my professional growth with BASIS Charter School, I later earned the opportunity to become a LET teacher for third grade, serving 34 students. In this role, I teach Literacy, Enrichment, and Connections while also assisting Lead Teachers with Math and Humanities instruction. In addition, I continue to provide support throughout the school by substituting whenever needed and maintaining a flexible, team-oriented approach. Enthusiastic teacher with several years of experience instructing students with wide range of learning abilities. Committed to creating motivational and collaborative learning environments that encourage social and emotional growth. Strategic in blending organizational skills thorough educational background. Works well with children, parents, colleagues and supervisors.
