Rachel Heaton-Fouberg

The Institute for Social Research is the world's largest academic social science survey research organization overseeing hundreds of social research projects annually. I currently work as a Project Analyst on one of those studies, the Health and Retirement Study.

My team currently consists of 5 direct reports and 67 indirect reports.

• Triage areas of concern to increase efficiency and productivity, and brainstorm ways to improve project work plans
• Monitor and analyze production reports and data at all levels to determine trends, outliers, hotspots, or areas of concern
• Alert project directors to perceived issues and suggest and implement solutions
• Contribute to successful project outcomes by providing accurate forecasts and risk assessments.
• Analyze data from diverse source formats in order to determine root cause of problems and issues in order to determine courses of action required to implement solutions.
• Create support systems and trainings to aid and enhance team knowledge and skillsets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of project components.
• Review and optimize existing processes, driving continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
• Provide valuable insights for future projects through comprehensive post-project evaluations and reports.
• Enhance communication among team members by creating clear and concise status reports.
• Conduct regular performance reviews for team members, providing constructive feedback that contributes to their professional growth.

After graduating I took 2 years off to care for my growing child, who is now in high school
