In my role as a Customer Service Specialist, I handle inbound calls that involve troubleshooting medical alert equipment, problem-solving, promoting services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and resolving concerns or complaints. This includes referring issues to appropriate departments for more complex solutions and actively following up to ensure resolution. I consistently maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional approach in all customer interactions.

Additional responsibilities include building and maintaining strong working relationships with case managers, caregivers, social workers, and family members. Establishing positive rapport with these partners is essential, as they serve as valuable advocates and resources in supporting our customers’ safety and well-being.

We work closely with the Emergency Response Center (ERC) to ensure customer needs are met. This includes accurately documenting all customer interactions across multiple data systems. On a daily basis, we utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to communicate effectively with team members and external agencies.
