  • Responsible for the IT Department for Yuba City Unified School District
  • 23 employees and over 25,000 pieces of IT equipment (Network, Chromebooks, Widows devices, student data systems, Accounting and HR systems, servers, printers, cameras, access control, and food services)
  • Led district IT strategy, implemented a plan, build, run model for the district with three distinct goals: increase cyber security standards, modernize the classroom, and have a best-in-class IT support model (helpdesk, remote support, 24/7 NOC/SOC, centralized support)
  • Managed a $6 Million budget and $4 Million in extra grant monies
  • Implemented summer projects to install 250 rooms with new interactive screens, new computers, and a new support model
  • Increased cyber security by implementing MFA (multi factor authentication), immutable backups, quarterly phishing campaigns, and other standards to meet all basic required standards for insurance.

  • Cracking Unit with 350 MBH 600# boiler and gas plant
  • Trained Emergency Response team members, including Hazmat Technician, and DOT qualified 15 years

  • Conducted troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and upgrades, as well as routine and preventive maintenance activities for all plant equipment in accordance with company procedures, and lock-out tag-out requirements
