I started in the ironworkers union at 18 yrs old. I have 24 years experience now mostly working with miscellaneous and structural steel I’m fourth generation in my family in the ironworks. I picked up the trade quickly. I started running my own projects within 2 years in the trade. I worked for Eandi Metal Works for 13 years. I was a forman for them for 10 years up until they closed their doors. I then went to work for Romak Iron Works shortly after and ran work in for them as a General Forman for close to 6 years. I left Romak and started my own Company California Custom Metals. We completed jobs all over San Francisco and the Bay Area. Including work at SFO, Mission Rock redevelopment, UC Berkeley to name a few. I worked in the field running day to day operations, coordinated shop fabrication, ordered materials/supplies, project bidding and all business related activities. I have great experience in field work, fabrication, leadership, scheduling and job planning.
