The Junior State’s Attorney Summer Program provided me with key skills such as critical thinking, public speaking, and understanding the criminal justice system through hands-on activities and a final mock trial. Participants gain professional experience by working with judges, prosecutors, law enforcement officers, and other legal experts. The program also strengthens communication, responsibility, and teamwork in a real workplace setting, as well as hosting weekly community events for youth in Baltimore City to prevent violence.
