- Software development. Performed software development to automate custom patching and installation scripts for our customer environment to maintain a secure and functional environment on a demanding schedule.
- Lead by example. Tier 3 support for all issues end to end. All projects and troubleshooting that could not be implemented by other teams landed on my desk and were implemented within SLA and budget.
- Coaching. Delivered consistent mentoring, training and onboarding for dozens of contractors and staff members, as well as 5 direct report junior staff.
- Virtualization. Managed the implementation of server virtualization for 250 servers, more than 99% of the data center environment to a Broadcom VMware platform.
- Storage. Implemented migration from existing to new NetApp SAN, approximately 250 TB of data. Also implemented NAS storage and system security improvements.
- Operating system migrations. Architected, implemented, upgraded or migrated Microsoft Windows and Linux servers to latest versions, managed systems applications including Active Directory, Certificate Authority, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, etc.
