• Patrolled designated areas in patrol vehicle and on foot to identify security and safety issues.

• Implemented a K9 program by applying for grants and public donations. Awarded a competitive K9 grant among 300 applicant agencies. Also applied for and awarded a $100,000 federal grant to establish the program and raised $10,000 in donations.
