Greet members and guest to the RH Johnson Pool & Fitness

center. Give tours of the facility, which includes Olympic size pool, both indoor/outdoor spa, Fitness and Cardio center. We also have an FOD activity room which is a Fitness On Demand group or individual exercise room. We also have a Massage room. RH Johnson rec center is one of four (4) facilities in Sun City West.

• Facility Assistants are responsible for the cleanliness and security of the facility. At this location (Kuentz) there is a outdoor pool, indoor spa and weight/workout facility also has several activity rooms for various clubs. There is a 300 seat capacity theater, and also a complete wood working shop with several hundred members. There is also a professional softball field, tennis and pickle ball courts.

• Assisted in training new employees on proper procedures/techniques required for efficient groundskeeping operations.
• Cleared public and private areas of debris before and after events.
• Trimmed trees, bushes and shrubs to keep vegetation aesthetically pleasing.
• Assisted with irrigation system maintenance and repair.
• Maintained grounds by mowing soccer and softball/baseball fields. Cleaned restrooms and Ramada areas after daily use, emptying trash bins.

Many various work assignments during a long career with IBM. Was a department Manager for 12 years and then promoted to a management position at the computer center in IBM Boulder Colorado before taking a early retirement offer in 1992.
