• Educated clients about applicable laws and regulations governing their behavior while on probation.

Bob Murphy School P.O.

• In collaboration with school administration provide intervention and prevention services to all students.
• Supervise daily searches, morning check-in, passing period, lunch and release in order to maintain safety.
• Assist with school staff with behavior issues, de-escalation, emergency situations and overall school programming.
• Provide transportation and supervision for school field trips, after school events and guest speakers on campus.
• Conduct home visits to address behavior , attendance and address verification
• Provide programming for students such as gardening, food handler's cards, forklifting classes, woodworking experience.
• Provide referrals to anger management, victim's awareness, weapons diversion, petty theft, truancy, gang prevention, parenting and community service.

• Organized a clothes closet for students in need.
• Assist with food distributions and school supply distribution for students and families.

AB 12 Extended Foster Care/ Out of Home Services

• Provide supervision for youth (Non- Minor Dependents (NMD)) with Extended Foster Care (EFC) home services and benefits.
• Prepare court reports for six month reviews keeping the Court updated with the youth's progress and providing all AB 12 state forms required.
• Conduct Transitional Conferences (TC) with all youth who have reached the age of seventeen and a half (17 1/2) and are currently in out of home placement. Explaining, their AB 12 benefits, eligibility and requirements in accordance of the Welfare and Institution Codes (WIC).
• Maintain open lines of communication with the Transitional Housing Program Plus Foster Care (THPP+FC) Case Worker and Independent Living Worker in order to provide services to youth as they transition to independence.

C.I.T.A. (Court Individualized Treatment of Adolescents) Court

• Conduct home visits and assessemnts
• Attend CFT ( Child Family Team) meetings with wraparound providers, social workers and parent/guardians.
• Work in conjunction with the Public Defender, District Attorney and the Department of Behavior Health providing mental health services to the youth and their family.
• Preparing necessary court reports, filing petitions and submitting to the District Attorney's office.
• Refer youth to services needed such as counseling, drug and alcohol counseling, mental health services, psychiatric appointments, wraparound services and coordinate educational services.
• Assist with Drug Court, working with the Drug Court Team ( IVRS- Inland Valley Recovery Services, Department of Behavior Health, Public Defender and the District Attorney's office).

Wrap Around Services/ Dual Supervision/ C.I.T.A Court

• Work in conjunction with the Department of Family Services (DFS) Social workers in a Welfare and Institution Code 241.1 committee meeting discussing and collaborating dual status youth placement.
• Attend CFT ( Child Family Team) Meetings.
• Assist with transportation of dual status youth from Detention Centers to out of state facilities.
• Coordinating transportation with DFS social workers, Juvenile Detention Centers and group home facility and staff members.
• Provide armed transportation for at risk youth to airport and secured facilities maintain contact with Airport Police, out of state Law Enforcement agencies, out of county/state Detention Centers.
• Conduct monthly face to face home visits.

Juvenile Aftercare Services Supervision

• Supervise youth who have completed out of home placement and assist with the transition into the community.
• Maintain contact with wrap around servicer, counseling provider, school and parent/gaurdian.
• Connect with youth with Independent Living Program (ILP) services.

Juvenile Investigations

• Begin the investigation process receiving referrals from the Juvenile Court.
• Set up the case file by obtaining vital documents such as birth certificate, social security card, immunization card, school discipline, school transcripts, health and safety issues, medical release forms, victim letters, obtain victim statement, obtain victim statement of loss, provide victim with necessary court documents for restitution.
• Forward victim restitution and financial orders to Cental Collections.
• Follow up with psychological evaluations ordered.
• Contact social workers and/or counselors.
• Review information from local law enforcement agencies, Probation Departments, and the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Complete Dispositional report for the Court including a recomendation.

Juvenile Out of Home Services

• Supervise youth ordered to out of home placement.
• Conduct monthly face to face visit with youth and placement staff.
• Assist with transportation from placement to placement or from placement to Detention Center.
• Complete Pre- Permanency Hearing (PPH) and case plan , every six months.
• Communicate with parent/guardian/social worker assisting with a reunification plan or permanent plan.
• Ensure the out of home placement is providing youth with appropriate rehabilitation services.
• Ensure the youth is meeting case plan goals objectives, meeting high school graduation requirements, and maintain compliance with Probation terms and conditions.
• Prepare court reports and/or file petitions as needed.

Success West Valley/ High Supervision

• Weekly supervision for youth with high risk behavior.
• Provide community resources for drug and alcohol, community service opportunities, counseling and educational assistance such as tutoring.
• Conduct mothy curfew checks.
• Provide the Court with progress reports every three months.
• Prepare dispositional reports for new law violation along with filing petitions with the District Attorney's office.
• Assisted with Ontario Police Department Paint Out Program, graffiti removal program, by transporting youth in need or Graffiti removal community service hours per court orders.
• Attend monthly Gang Task Force Meetings.

Gender Specific Supervision

• Supervise an all female caseload.
• Coordinate weekly sessions with an individual therapist.
• Conduct Girls Circle support group, which included - journal writing, life skills, dating expectations, make-up tutorials, dealing with anger, nutrition, exercise routines and any other topics pertinent to the success of youth.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and therapy appointments..
• Maintain communication with parent/guardian/social worker.
• Refer to services such as individual counseling, family counseling, school services/counseling.

Youth Justice Center Day Reporting Center

• Supervise counseling classes from outsider providers for youth.
• Receive referrals fro San Bernardino County Probation Officers and local School Districts.
• Organize and track all counseling classes provided.
• Transport youth, when needed, to and from classes.
• Attend community meetings and meet with San Bernardino County Departments in regards to providing classes for at risk youth.

Central Valley Juvenile Detention and Assessment Center and West Valley Juvenile Detention and Assessment Center

• Supervise daily living activities with the youth detained at San Bernardino Detention and Assessment Center.
• Perform counseling, guidance, plan/organize recreation and leisure activities, conduct group counseling sessions, community group and group structuring.
• Transporting youth within facility, to different facilities, to Court Hearings and Medical appointments.
• Teach Independent Living Skills.
• Provide Detention Summary reports to the Court.
• Intervene in physical and verbal altercations using the continuum of forces.
• Preparing incidents reports.
• Manage caseload and counsel youth in preparation for release.
