Volunteering

Since 2014, I have been involved with a Youth Soccer Ministry. I have fulfilled various roles from assistant director, to coach, to referee. My children grew up playing in this wonderful program that has helped mentor and develop Div. I through Div. III athletes who have earned scholarships based directly on their work in this league. My son, who was one of the recipients of such an honor, is now coaching and refereeing to give back. And I am proudly his "assistant" these days. Over the years, this ministry has touched several thousands of youth in rural Alabama that would otherwise not had the opportunity for such mentorship.
