Met with clients during appointments and prior to drop offs to discuss in great detail pets condition, reason for seeing the vet, preventative care and treatment. Took detailed extensive notes about treatment and condition of pet then inputting all information into Petware on computer. Filled prescriptions, organized and cleaned hospital including kennels and keeping laundry caught up and nicely put away. Assisted in setting up and putting away surgery equipment, running lab tests, sterilizing surgery tools, wrapping surgery packs and gowns, vaccinations, blood draws, catheters, anal gland expression and nail trims. Worked closely and wonderfully with Veterinarians, vet techs, assistants and customer service employees. Providing excellent care for cats, dogs and occasionally guinea pigs, mice and other small rodents.

Assisted in surgery, did blood draws and lab tests, vaccinations, radio graphs and preventative dog and cat care. Performed secure and knowledgeable holds and restraints for various test and treatments. Cleaned hospital, kennels and pets if necessary.
