Lifelong resident of the Great Lakes Region and dedicated TICA member since 2013, with more than a decade of active involvement in TICA as a breeder, exhibitor, mentor, author, show volunteer, and breed advocate. Experienced in promoting TICA and the Ocicat breed throughout the United States and internationally, supporting regional activities, mentoring exhibitors, and contributing to the successful operation of TICA shows. Committed to strengthening the Great Lakes Region through communication, participation, education, sportsmanship, and service to TICA members.

  • Friskies Gold Award Winner
  • Created a short story video featuring my Ocicats, “We Love Squirrel.”
  • The video was selected for a Friskies Gold Award.
  • The Purina Company purchased the video for $5,000, recognizing the appeal and entertainment value of the Ocicats to a broader audience.
  • Donated a portion of the proceeds to support a local cat shelter.
  • Demonstrated the ability to showcase cats and the breed in a way that reaches audiences beyond the traditional cat fancy.

LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY

  • I believe a Regional Director should be accessible, informed, fair, responsive, and willing to listen.
  • The Great Lakes Region is made up of its members, exhibitors, breeders, clubs, judges, and volunteers. Effective regional leadership means communicating with those members, encouraging participation, supporting clubs and shows, welcoming new exhibitors, and ensuring that members feel their voices are heard.
  • My goal as Interim Great Lakes Regional Director would be to serve the membership, strengthen participation, support our clubs and shows, and represent the Great Lakes Region with integrity and enthusiasm.
