Regional Sales Manager for Seaboard Foods, which is the largest American-owned pork company in America. My region was based on an 8-state region with South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Colorado.

My main duties were to oversee all sales through my Foodservice/Retail distributors in my region, and organize my broker system in each region with training and direct sales opportunities with the broker reps. And utilize their connections in each region. Other duties are to work directly with Distribution leaders to set up marketing programs and direct training to their sales force, in turn driving new customer volumes.

I also worked with large LLOs and regional restaurant chains to develop relationships and high-volume product opportunities, in turn adding higher-volume sales at the chain level. Individual market visits were approximately. Every 4 to 6 weeks, annually.

I have not built a resume in approximately 30 years, and I have three-plus decades of experience. I hope that my experience in the food business will qualify me for a possible position.

I have coached and trained not only broker reps in my regions, but I have also trained many new Seaboard/Daily Regional Sales Managers over my service period I was involved in coaching and teaching base product information, territory breakdown, CRM, and follow-up on pipeline training I was efficient with cold calling and marketing programs for distribution and large-volume customers Relationship building was a core piece of my position, which I believe helped me expand my regions successfully in each region
