I consider myself a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse (RN) with a respectful attitude, empathetic, with the ability to multitask and work well with others. The path is just beginning and I am open to continuing learning how to be a better nurse every day to help those who need it. I know that there is still a lot to learn in this great field of nursing but I know I can achieve it.

Year:2022

San Lucas Hospital. Ponce, Puerto Rico

• Mother and infant care

- I Monitored fetal heart rate and took vital signs of pregnant patients and newborns.

Year 2023

Forensic Psychiatric Hospital. Ponce, Puerto Rico

• Mental Health

- I interviewed several patients and did a routine assessment of the patients' mental status by assessing their

level of consciousness, as well as their general appearance, general behavior, affect and mood, general speech, and cognitive performance.

- I also witnessed a follow-up interview with a patient and a group of mental health clinicians. It was very interesting for me to witness the rapid and aggressive mood changes in the patient.

General Hospital Menonita. Guayama, Puerto Rico

• Emergency Department:

-Always supervised by a very professional nurse and following aseptic techniques , I drew blood and sent it to the laboratory. I prepared and administered medications to patients via subcutaneous, IM and IV. I Help in the Triage department. Also monitored patients conditions.

• ICU

-We did bed baths since most of the patients were in critical condition and could not move on their own. The level of care in this department was the highest. Also I helped the nurses to prepare the IV medications, read and analyzed the patients chart and plan of care.
