• Ensure personnel follow the production area procedures for sanitation and product safety purposes.
• Make sure the production area parameters meet the cGMP and FDA regulations.
• Keep track of the sanitation log for machinery, equipment, restrooms, utensils and common areas.
• Help the design team to meet FDA regulations for packaging and labeling.
• Document Certificates of Analysis, Specifications Sheets, Nutritional Statements, Safety Data Sheets and Composition Statements for ingredients and finished products.
• Document Formulation and Production reports for finished products daily.
• Keep track of supplies and ingredients used in the production area (inventory).
• Optimize the production line to improve production times.
• Verify the quality of the ingredients and finished products.
• Document SOPs for all production and administrative processes.
• Keep track of machinery maintenance.
• Receive customer complaints and perform tests to verify the issue.
• Receive product requests from customers.
• Formulate product to meet customer requirements.
• Document all master formulas for all products.
• Record lot numbers, manufacturing dates and expiration dates for ingredients and finished products.
• Evaluate different product parameters to meet the quality control requirements.
• Document Emergency Plan in case of a contingency in the production area.
• Ensure the production process safety.
• Improve product formulations.

• Perform QA/QC to check electrical blueprints and see the compliance with the electrical code.
• Check size, length, current and voltage presented on the design to see its viability.
• Mark blueprints and send RFI to the Project Manager to check differences between the blueprints and the code.
• Suggest changes on the blueprints to meet the standards of the electrical code.
• Have meetings with Project Manager and other construction areas to discuss and organize the 3D design to make sure there's no conflicts with plumbing, mechanical and other type of blueprints.

Physicochemical analyst functions:

• Physicochemical analysis of water (Demineralized water system and boiler water system), supplies, raw material, in process products and finished goods.
• Update and identification of taken samples.
• Update of coding and labeling of laboratory chemical products.
• Calibration and cleaning of laboratory equipment.
• Cleanliness and order of the laboratory.
• Preparation of different solutions and indicators used in chemical analysis.
• Record of the physicochemical parameters analyzed.
• Registration and approval of the different products manufactured in the production line.
• Verification of compliance with safety and order standards in the packaging line.
• Realization of reports pertinent to non-conformity and product claims.
• Inspections of the manufacturing and packaging areas to check their status during before, during and after their respective processes.
• Verification of the quality of the different packaged products in the production area

• A Final Diploma Report (FDR) entitled "Statistical control for improvements in the packaging process of the company Salerm Latina, A.C., San Diego, Carabobo" was carried out, where a proposal was made to improve the bottling process of shampoos in the production area through the application of statistical control methods.
