• Growth - Designed compliant lending products, and document architecture and digital flow for those products. These products tripled users from 10,000 to 33,000, quadrupled loan balances from $200M to $850M, and sextupled revenue from $17M to $105M per annum.
• Capital Markets - Managed legal, due diligence, and compliance aspects of program, increasing capacity from $250M to $1.5B in 15 months.
• Legal Function - Prepared and organized interactions with BAAS issuing bank, partners, and regulators. Reduced YOY outside legal spend by 12% through convergence and automation of functions such as leave and benefits.
• Corporate Governance - Collaborated with executive team to develop strategic initiatives aligned with legal standards.

Recruited to drive legal support for lending business with $50B in annual volume.

• Public Company - Led several pubic company readiness initiatives, including three sections of the S-4 (de-SPAC registration), change of control, reform of insurance portfolio - including all major lines, and exchange listing process. Presented to the Board three times on these issues.
• Growth - Led growth projects, including:(1) design and launch f DTC and partnership models in 35 states; (2) integration of two international acquisitions while minimizing real estate, fees, and tax exposure, and (3) conversion of valuations function to profit structure.
• Team - Selected and managed three teams totaling 51 Legal and Compliance professionals, coordinating cross-functional projects with business units.

Recruited to 6,000 employee global leader in licensed sports goods with sites of NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL.

Growth - Counseled Company marketplaces on all legal matters. negotiated, drafted, and implemented 150 marketplace retailer distribution contracts. Converted two IP litigation threats into revenue, including a $2.2M annual deal with NYC's MTA.

Litigation - Ran defensive and affirmative docket of 20 federal and state matters. Led deterrence suit against major international athlete, settling in four months for full performance. Developed strategies that reduced counterfeit listings from 40% to under 2% in nine months. Won $15M federal innovation grant over industry competitors.

Recruited to build a government practice of 200-lawyer AmLaw 200 firm.

• Regulatory Defense - Defended companies and individuals in regulatory and criminal matters. Also practiced with Robins Kaplan spin-off firm 12/2019 - 12/2020.
• Pre-Trial Advocacy - Negotiated declinations or diversion programs for 11 of 11 corporate and individual clients, including representation of pharmaceutical company CEO in high-profile regulatory and criminal investigations by the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Department of Justice.

Change Management - Delivered improved performance, including: (1) increasing average prison sentence by 348% (from 1.25 to 4.35 years); (2) securing two record annual FCPA recoveries, including $44.6 million in 2012, a 73% increase over prior record, and (3) winning first-ever convictions of first-degree crimes.

Team - Closed satellite office, reducing headcount by 29% (23%), reduced expenses on $20M annual budget by 16%. Re-allocated saved funds to new fraud reduction undercover operations and statewide advertising campaign to reduce fraud.

Awards - New Jersey Special Investigators Association Investigation of the Year, Cornell Law School Exemplary Public Service Award.

• Investigations - Promoted to Securities & Healthcare Fraud Unit. Investigated and prosecuted over 80 criminal and civil fraud matters in highly-regulated industries.
