• Programmed and optimized Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using PC-DMIS to execute automated, high-precision dimensional validation on complex fabricated components. [1]
• Developed automated PC-DMIS inspection routines using advanced GD&T principles, slicing final component inspection times down while boosting measurement repeatability.
• Programmed and adjusted CNC mills and lathes, directly bridging the gap between quality data feedback and real-time machining corrections to eliminate machine-induced drift.
• Directly managed and mentored a team of 4 Quality Inspectors, optimizing daily shop-floor inspection schedules to match manufacturing line demands.
• Owned the facility-wide metrology program, ensuring calibration tracking, maintenance, and NIST traceability for all precision inspection tools.
• Drove a significant reduction in shop scrap and rework rates by leveraging real-time PC-DMIS data to implement immediate corrective actions on production lines.

• Provided comprehensive metrology assistance to diverse departments, ensuring consistent support at local and other AbbVie locations.
• Streamlined calibration procedures to facilitate effective calibration practices among laboratory and field technicians.
• Led metrology initiatives for successful software transition from Blue Mountain RAM R4 and IBM Maximo after completion of Allergan acquisition.
• Provide Metrology Engineering support for DC/Low Frequency, RF/Microwave, pressure, temperature, process instrumentation, mass, flow, gravimetric method (pipettes), conductivity, humidity, and dimensional disciplines.
• Managed comprehensive operations in drug discovery, development, and commercialization within a leading $470 billion biopharmaceutical organization.
• This project lasted 26 months, and involved 13 sites, and approximately 51,000 Assets.
• My contributions included reviewing all extracts from RAM R4 to Maximo, training all Metrology personnel at the Allergan sites on the use of Maximo, aided on the authoring of Job Plan Template's (JPT's) and associating the Assets with each, and building Data Sheets Templates (DST's) based on the site M&TE.

• Responsible for managing all Calibration and Preventative maintenance activities facility wide operational on a 24/7 schedule.
• Provided administrative and technical guidance to 13 Calibration and PM Technicians.
• Maintenance aspects include Process Instrumentation, Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), programming, automated processes, United States Pharmacopeia (USP) water, Clean-in Place (CIP) skids, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), air handling systems, steam sterilizers, incubators, lyophilizers, and building management system (BMS) monitoring.
• Calibration and PM monthly WO completion rate was improved from 80% to 100% in short tenure with company.
• Drastic reduction in non-value-added overtime, and reduction in outside contract services experienced maintenance budget savings of over $600,000.

• Responsible for the operation and continual improvement of the multi-site Metrology group.
• Develop, document, validate, review, and maintain calibration methods and procedures, based on principles of measurement science, and technical analysis of the measurement uncertainties.

• Charged with direction and daily operations of a corporate calibration laboratory and avionics engineering group.
