I originally started working for Grounds/Housekeeping and was promoted to the Engineering Department after two years.

My responsibilities are to maintain both the inside and outside of the Bilmar Beach Resort to the standards that have brought us up to the top ten beach resorts in Pinellas County. This includes daily Data input about existing jobs completed and work orders, plus daily painting that needs to be completed. I work directly with the head of Engineering, Jon Klish, to schedule necessary maintenance around the hotel grounds and see that the work gets completed on schedule.

• Understood and followed verbal and written landscaping instructions to complete complex tasks correctly.
• Removed debris and waste from outdoor areas.
• Utilized power tools and landscaping machines to maintain outdoor areas.
• Trimmed greenery, shrubs, and hedges to maintain uniform appearance.
• Cut trees and shrubs to shape and maintain landscape.
• Removed tree stumps, roots and debris for cohesive landscape appearance.
• Used trimmers and chainsaws for grounds maintenance, brush clearing, and tree removal and thinning
• Complied with safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries on job sites

• Managed calendars and scheduled appointments to maintain smooth flow of operations.
• Maintained filing system and organized customer documents for easy retrieval of information.
• Provided quality clerical support through data entry, document management, email correspondence, and overseeing operation of office equipment.
• Verified transactions, product orders and shipping dates and entered information into databases and reports.
• Monitored office supplies and made arrangements for restocking of low-stock items.
