Monthly meetings to plan for participation and promotion of events such as the MLK Day of Service, Friends of the Malden River cleanup, and Somerville Homeless Coalition sleep out. Inspired athletes to engage in community service through example and providing information.
• Tufts Wilderness Orientation, Orientation Leader, Medford, MA, 2024. Completed two week wilderness training and Wilderness First Aid certification. Co-lead 10 first-year students on a five day backpacking trip to foster a sense of belonging. Promoted inclusivity and accessibility of the outdoors to historically denied groups through educational trainings on bias and history of outdoor recreation, Indigenous land acknowledgement, and engagement with Indigenous authors and poets.
