Volunteer Experience

The Block Church (2018-Present)

  • Led multiple teams across several locations at diverse, multisite church for the past 5 years, including the Set-Up/Tear Down team, the Ushers, Parking, Security team, and the Prayer team. Led 10+ church small groups for community to gather midweek. Oversaw "Serve Saturday" monthly community volunteer projects which include upgrading the space used for our church's Kids Ministry, cleaning halfway houses, and giving out food and praying for people in neighborhoods most affected by the drug epidemic in Philly.
  • Completed church's 2-year leadership/ministry school, in which I learned how to lead within a church context. Through this experience, I regularly led "New To The Church", our church's weekly orientation group for new members to learn about the Bible and our church culture.
