• Completing light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up toys and books.
• Providing a safe environment for children to explore their curiosity and creativity.
• Instructing children in basic hygiene practices such as brushing teeth or washing hands.
• Maintaining a positive attitude while being patient and understanding with the children.
• Establishing trust through consistent communication with both parents and kids.
• Teaching good manners by setting clear expectations for behavior in various settings.
• Developing creative ways to encourage learning through everyday experiences.
• Monitoring sleep schedules and adjusting accordingly if needed.
• Responsibly watched children while parents were out.
• Supervised and cared for children ages 1 to 12.

Aside from these key skills, I practiced to be a good babysitter by seeing my sisters grow and starting to take good care of them as young as 7 years old. A decade later, I still do this job frequently, which prepares me for SILT since I will most likely know the kids values and needs while working and collaborating with them.

• Although I wasn't around during this job a lot, I would always work for my Father's business during school days off such as vacation and after school. While worked in "Tacos El Ojo de Agua", not only did I learn interacting skills and speed skills, but I learned how it's like to give a customer good service and provide with small talk. This technique would earn me a lot of smiles and getting to know my Father's customers. I was as young as 7 years old learning these skills from another employee, until I got the hang of it at age 11.
