The significant achievement I had was the great experience of being part of an excellent multidisciplinary team with whom I learned their different roles and
gained Social Worker skills at one of the largest mental health centers in Illinois. This made me realize that this is an area where I want to continue working as Social worker or QIDP.
Working here was my first great experience providing direct care to people with developmental disabilities and it made me decide to continue learning in this very rewarding area! Mi only reason for leaving was to go to my country during the pandemic.
Having worked at the biggest and most complex hospital of Paraguay was the fundamental basis of my career both as a dialysis nurse and as a Social Worker. It gave me great skills and knowledge as:

Reason for leaving : Relocated in the United State. Please, If you find overlapping jobs and dates it is because I have also worked in two different shifts but in different places until 2018.
Being part of the team that has written and applied the “Paraguay Kidney Health Program" was only one of my achievements . The knowledge acquired about the different stages of chronic kidney disease has allowed me to provide guidance,advice and counseling to clients and their families on the care of kidney patients.
Years later, this professional experience has enabled me to work as a Nephrology Social Worker, as it has combined my technical knowledge with the social aspects of caring for dialysis patients.
