The Loan Syndications Associate supports BOKF's Loan Syndications efforts in the marketing, structuring and execution of the Bank's syndicated loans across a variety of industries including Energy, Healthcare, Commercial Real Estate, Middle Market Corporate and other commercial financing business lines.
  
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Drafts internal syndication approval memos, offering memoranda, proposals, and financial presentations detailing client and transaction-related merits and risks.
* Works with senior Loan Syndications team members to review new lead agency opportunities presented by the Line of Business and collaborate with Sr. Team Leaders to devise key syndication terms including deal economics/fees and distribution strategy in order to achieve a successful syndication. Oversees analytical work product to support deal marketing and origination efforts.
* Prepares loan marketing packages for distribution to investors. Drives the preparation of offering and marketing materials for investors. Serves as point of contact for investors during and after syndication process. Answers investor underwriting and due diligence questions. Obtains investor commitments. Plans, manages, and tracks details for bank meetings and events. Maintains active templates for pitch materials and offering memorandums with current information on both BOKF and the market.
* Actively sources and researches comparable market transactions to analyze trends in pricing, markets, and covenant structures. Collaborates with the business lines to compile relevant research into the active database. Performs ongoing monitoring of data to ensure it remains current and relevant.
* Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful and timely closings of BOKF-agented transactions. This shall include, but not be limited to, collecting all necessary administrative details from syndicate member banks, ensuring details of each subject transaction are communicated effectively between the Line of Business and Credit Administration, conversing with BOKF's financial controllers to obtain approval for recognition of syndication revenue. Acts as an ongoing liaison between Investors, the Line of Business, and Credit Administration for all post-closing items as necessary.
  

  
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or business related field
* MBA preferred
* CFA preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience working in the loan syndications field or 4+ years equivalent commercial credit analysis/relationship management experience
* Working knowledge of banking loan policies and procedures, credit analysis, accounting
* Working knowledge of loan syndication processes
* Experience with public database research
* Working knowledge of commercial credit practices achieved through formal credit training and on-the-job experience
* Strong Excel and Word experience
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Exceptional conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems that include interrelationships and dependencies
* Ability to view and solve problems from customer's perspective
* Strong project management skills including strategic planning, work plan development and implementation
* Strong organizational skills with ability to persist through ambiguity and move ahead regardless of barriers
* Strong ability to effectively plan time, method, manner and sequence of own work assignments while balancing the conflicting mentor demands of work team
* Highest level of integrity, maturity, and an exceptional work ethic
