Affiliations

  • Prior to entering the fire/Medic business, I was a Aircraft Mechanic in the United States Air Force. I served during the first Gulf war and was awarded a Medal for Meritorious Service during that time.
  • After being honorably discharge from military service, I began my career as a firefighter paramedic. This continued for the next 28 years culminating in my active role as a fire lieutenant within the department.
  • After retiring from the Fire service, I transitioned into working in the emergency department in a paramedic capacity, which is to say, short of the clearance to administer a handful or medications, I was performing the same functions and duties as a nurse.
