Vice Operations- (2008-2009) investigated crimes including pimping and pandering, massage parlors, human trafficking, street prostitution and alcohol violations.

Street Gang Unit- (2009-2013) monitored and investigated violent street gangs that were involved in robberies, shootings, homicides, assaults, money laundering, extortion, pimping and pandering, narcotic sales, illegal firearm possession and sales.

• Testified as a gang expert in state and federal courts involving gang members.
• Monitored state and federal wire taps involving gang crimes including planned gang violence, bank robberies, pimping and pandering with narcotic and firearm sales.
• Obtained warrants to search properties for evidence of criminal activity.
• Evaluated the credibility of witnesses and suspects during interviews.
• Executed and obtained search warrants and subpoenas to obtain evidence for resolution of criminal matters.
• Managed crime scene investigations by collecting evidence, performing fingerprinting and taking videos and photos of scenes.

Special Investigations Unit-(2013-2018) assisted area station Detectives with complex series related crimes with an emphasis of violent fugitive apprehension.

FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force- (2018-2023) Investigated state and federal crimes involving individuals who were involved in acts of terrorism and materials to support terrorism. Also investigated cases involving Domestic Terrorism and Homegrown Violent Extremist.

FBI's Organized Crime Squad- (2023-Present) Investigates organized crimes to include money laundering, Bit-Coin, ATM Skimming, narcotic sales, diesel fuel thefts, product diversion and pig butchering scams.

San Diego Police Threat Management Unit- (2021-Present) Unit investigates all threat to life cases generated by the San Diego Law Enforcement Coordination Center. Detectives triage and investigate threats involving work place violence, schools, home grown violent extremists and active shooters.

• Basic patrol responsibilities in Southeastern Division. (1997-2002)
• Narcotic Street Team- conducted long-term undercover operations, including surveillance, search warrant service, managing informants, and testifying in court. (2002-2004
• Uniformed proactive bike team -addressed complaints in high-narcotic areas that would lead to arrests. (2002-2004)
• Uniformed Gang Suppression Team - proactive uniformed members who specifically address all gang-related crimes in the county of San Diego. Those crimes include robberies, shootings, assaults with a deadly weapon, narcotics and pimping and pandering. (2004-2008)
• FBI Robbery Task Force-undercover operations investigating gang members that were involved in bank robberies. (2007-2008)
