• Provide direct nursing care to the residents.
• Implements or delegates aspects of care in a timely manner.
• Communicate/collaborate with other professional disciplines ( i.e. Director of Nursing, Attending Physicians, Medical Director, and/or Facility Management, etc.) to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Deliver patient/resident care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, treatment, and evaluation.
• Plan and carry out nursing activities consistent with defined policies and clinical nursing practice standards.
• Support the organization's vision and mission.
• Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in inpatient care.
• Perform other duties assigned.

Nurse conducts clinical review of cases not meeting criteria by performing clinical intake and adjudicates (closes), requests additional clinical information or escalates to Medical Directors.

• Identifies nursing needs of patients and gives direct nursing care in conformance with established standards and policies.
• Plans, gives and continuously evaluates nursing care.
• Admits and discharge patients, and performs post-mortem care.
• Performs such nursing activities as bathing, feeding and oral hygiene on acutely ill patients and assists others.
• Administers medications and treatments; enemas, irrigation, catheterization, etc.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of patient’s condition, medication, treatment, and nursing care given.
• Carries out doctor’s orders in conformity with hospital policy legal limitation.
• Prepares and assists Physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Communicates and acts as liaison between patients, Physicians, and other hospital personnel.
• Interprets to patient and family their roles in promoting successful procedures and rehabilitation.
• Keep up-to-date with medical progress and nursing procedures and participates in pilot studies for improvements of nursing care with her assigned unit (utilizes scientific principles in giving nursing care.)
• Teaches and directs non-professional nursing personnel in execution of their assigned tasks.
• Acts as in-charge when so delegated as Team Leader and assumes responsibility for performance of team members.

• Handles inbound calls on the first call, through the use of proactive customer service and call control techniques and proven troubleshooting procedures
• Creates an exceptional experience for the customer by using professional customer service techniques, personalizing and focusing on adding value to the call
• Retains existing customer/services through the use of proactive customer service/consulting techniques and enabling customers to perceive value in the service
• Consistently improving product knowledge and understanding, participating in ongoing training in keeping with changing business strategies

• Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Providing pre and post operation care
• Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions
• Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures
• Assisted doctors in delivery of medical procedures such as Bedside Paracentesis and Chest Tube Insertion
• Provided Advanced Cardiac Life support in emergency situations
• Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

• Provides primary and critical nursing care for patients in Medical/ Surgical Unit, Emergency Room, Maternal and Child Unit, Operating Room and Delivery Room Unit and Intensive Care Unit under supervision of a nurse preceptor
• Delivers excellent therapeutic communication with patients and family members
• Starts IV and administers medication under direct supervision

• Assist in lifting, mobilizing, and transportation of patients as per Hospital policy and health and safety guidelines. Collection/transportation of supplies/equipment within Hospital. Collection/Transportation of X-rays, reports, medical records, specimen’s etc. as required.
