  • As a Service Advisor at Rommel Harley-Davidson, I am responsible for providing a good customer experience, while serving as their point of contact for the service department. As a service advisor, I am the liaison between customers and the technicians who work on their bike. As a new service advisor, I was solely responsible for running the service department during Ocean City Bikefest 2024, as the only service advisor on hand during the dealership's busiest week of the year. In this position, it is crucial that I am knowledgeable and well-versed while speaking to customers about their needed repairs. This position includes, but is not limited to, responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, answering customer questions, taking detailed notes of customers' concerns, discussing repair options for customers' motorcycles, and creating work orders for all bikes being serviced in our dealership. This position often requires quick problem-solving and the ability to operate in a high-stress environment.
  • As an employee of the parts department, I am responsible for shipping and receiving packages, ordering shop supplies, processing returns, picking and delivering parts from storage to the technicians, and maintaining inventory. I am also responsible for manning the parts counter and sales floor, where I assist customers in finding the right parts and/or accessories for their motorcycles, and order any parts that a customer needs that we do not I am also responsible for locating and ordering parts for all repairs done in the service department, and at times, I need to locate obsolete or hard-to-find parts through third-party vendors.

  • As a morning prep cook, or 'Opener,' I was responsible for getting the restaurant ready for service each morning. This included, but was not limited to, ensuring that all kitchen equipment was turned on and functioning properly, and preparing and portioning any menu items or ingredients that were needed for the day. I was also responsible for assisting with food prep for the food truck.
  • As a line cook, I was responsible for cooking in a timely and quality manner. I was proficient in all stations in the kitchen and able to fill any position if needed. In a restaurant that prides itself on quick service and with often high volumes of orders, there is little room for mistake, so proficiency and competency in all positions was an essential skill for success.
