Summary

As an educator I have had wonderful experiences interacting with other adults and with young people. I have not lost this love of interacting with people of all ages after retirement. My interests are diverse and culturally focused - cultures, geography, history, literature, music and the arts.

Since retirement I am not focused on specific educational learning styles or large classroom lesson plans, etc., but rather enjoy helping individuals meet their goals and needs.

reading, cooking, history, gardening

I am a dabbler and a reader. Books are my passion, but I don't read as much as I'd like because I love to cook, and create beautiful table presentations.

More recently I have to enjoy watching the History channel and reading book on the Civil War and the story of how we got to our present day political situation.

I live on half an acre of land of which a quarter acre needs to be tended, so I read books and newspaper articles, converse with other garden caregivers to maintain a beautiful garden
