I started doing boy scouts in 2012, at the very first rank and throughout boy scouts I learned a lot about life and how to be productive and independent. I learned skills like cooking, camping, how to use tools and how to be safe in every way when going anywhere. Going from the first rank starting out until the last and final rank as eagle scout took dedication and hard work. I got my eagle scout in July of 2023, through this process I had to dedicate my time to getting through the ranks. In these ranks we had to do certain requirements, called merit badges, such as go camping for a certain amount of time, we had to complete physical fitness challenges, and we had to learn certain first aid procedures. For fun we built community projects, we had ceremonies for ranking up, and we camped. In scouts we learned about society, how the world works, anything fun we wanted to learn more about like cycling, hiking, shooting, or even cooking were called merit badges, and we could do them at summer camps, online classes or in our troops meetings. Some of these were requirements, to rank up and every rank there are a certain amount of merit badges that you had to earn before you could rank up. In those 11 years, I learned a lot about life and how to grow and be more familiar with the things in the world by myself.
