My passion as a Young Pastor is to see families pursue Jesus with their lives, live with purpose, and tell others about Him. Throughout my ministry, my main focuses have been for families to know who Jesus is, to be in a growing relationship with Him, and to serve the Local Church. I believe as Students and families grasp these concept and take it to heart, it will launch them into being a contributor, rather than a consumer in their faith.
While serving at Midway Church, I have served as the High School Pastor, and then transitioned to Student Pastor overseeing all of the Student Ministry, with a focus on High School Ministry. In my time at Midway, I have lead our weekly focus of discipleship, weekly worship services for Students, recruited and trained volunteers, and created a student leadership team. I led our time for us going to camp, created an annual High School Mission trip, led our area Student Ministry Network DNOW, and other various student ministry events within our Church including Student serve days. I have led and developed our team to best reach the students in the West Georgia area with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
During my summers as a college student, I served as a Recreation Leader and Recreation Director. During that time, I helped plan and execute games at rec, as well as connecting with the students and churches who were at camp that week.
My hobbies include spending time with my family, playing golf with friends, duck/deer hunting, and fishing. I am passionate about Alabama Football, and Atlanta Braves Baseball (and I sometimes claim to be a Jacksonville Jaguars fan, depending on the year).
