I was cooking various meals and entrees from scratch. I was responsible for much of th labor and heavy cleaning / sanitizing. I learned how to prepare and properly cook on all stations and got to be pretty good. I was working 35-40+ hours a week due to us being short staffed, and as one of the younger workers. I was put under heavy stress and met many demands. Learned many things, however a very unhealthy work environment has been my leading reason for quitting.
I worked alongside a team to accomplish work goals according to schedule. I loaded, unloaded, and moved material to and from storage and production areas. I utilized construction tools and machinery to effectively complete job site projects. I understood and followed verbal and written instructions to complete work correctly. I maintained organized and clean work areas at all times on job sites. I maintained grounds by trimming, weeding, and general clean-up. I trimmed greenery, shrubs, and hedges to maintain uniform appearance.
I did various things here. I would end up filling every position in the front of the house where customer service and satisfaction became the focus. In a routinely busy environment i was responsible for managing server rotations and guest seating, waitlist managing, selling and pitching for ticket sales, taking orders and serving food, mixing drinks, and i also called bingo.
This was a seasonal Job and I had two responsibilities. I would stay in a cabin and oversee the ticket sales for the tubing hill. On nights where the tubing hill wasn't open, I would be sent to a warming hut on the ski hill to sell hot drinks, cookies, and candy.
I worked in the back and helped customers by taking questions and sending in their orders, as well as, cashing them out and directing them. i was responsible for keeping up on the stock on the shelves. i also took phone calls when the need arose.
