  • We studied field ecology, threatened and endangered species, wildlife policy in rural communities, and community based approaches to wildlife conservation
  • We tracked endangered species (grizzly bears, gray wolves, Canadian lynx, and bull trout) in the Swan Valley, the Rocky Mountain Front, and Glacier National Park
  • We practiced track and sign skills, counting procedures for individual animals, electrofishing, community/public involvement (specifically communicating with stakeholders in regard to conflict and management of these species) and survival skills.
