A dedicated and hardworking teacher, with an ability to connect with students of all backgrounds and ages.

Paul C. Bunn Elementary School- During three separate semesters, I worked as a literacy tutor with groups of two students. We worked on phonemic awareness, letter-sound correspondence, identifying sight words, and general reading comprehension skills. 

Canfield Elementary School- Over the course of a semester, I worked with a special education teacher as a general classroom aide. I worked with small groups, did one on one instruction, and assisted with classroom management.

Niles Primary School- Worked with a second grade teacher during one semester. I aided the teacher in various ways, mostly assisting students who needed additional support. 

Niles Intermediate School- Completed extensive field work in a fifth grade special education setting. Worked closely with students throughout the entire day, teaching lessons, assisting with classwork, meeting student's emotional needs, and managing behaviors. 

Joesph Badger Elementary School- Extensive field work was completed in a Kindergarten classroom. I worked as a teachers aide, helping students with assignments, passing out supplies, teaching lessons, managing behaviors, taking students to and from different locations in the school, and creating activities.
