Make daily rounds of the plant performing a variety of duties pertaining to water treatment, plant operation and hydroelectric facilities

• Collect water samples and conduct chemical test; analyze and record test results

• Successfully completed all duties of the Water Distribution Operator including: the repair and maintenance of a variety of water systems and facilities including water main lines, water meters, and fire hydrants; the repair of leaks in systems; installing and replacing customer service lines; valve exercising; and participated in marking underground utilities.

• Had the opportunity to cross-train on multiple positions within the division including the Maintenance Worker II Water Production position which led to my promotion to water production.

• Preparing and applying a variety of pesticides, insecticides, fertilizers, and other pest and disease eradication and control chemicals.
