  • My primary position was providing convoy security via weapons systems atop a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected armored fighting vehicle allowing safe arrival of all military logistical assets and personnel needed to maintain combat operations across the battlefield
  • Ensuring every load was inventoried, checked for shortages, safely secured, and delivered to appropriate war fighter in the field
  • As a secondary position I was a MAT-V, MAXXPRO, or Palletized Loading System operator distributing logistical needs to the units of Regional Command East
  • Operating a PLS consisted of uploading and downloading sensitive loads such as small arms ammunition, explosives, and air to ground missiles
  • During this operation I received a Combat Action Badge, Army Commendation Medal, an Army Achievement Medal, and was recommended for a Bronze Star for duties performed during the tour.
