Prior to my career in law enforcement, I graduated from Abington Heights High School. While attending high school, I participated in sports such as football and track. Upon finishing my senior year, I joined the United States Navy. I had always known I had a calling to serve and protect in any way I could. Upon completion of boot camp, I was selected to be in a personal reliability program in Silverdale, WA. While serving, I was part of a Marine unit that would work with sensitive assets within the police department. During the program, I underwent continuous evaluation, followed strict medical regulations, and maintained high standards. I regularly participated in CBRN training, completed my HMMWV license, and trained on an array of weapons. I also received multiple awards and achievements, including a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (NAM). After completing my active duty, I continued my career in law enforcement and attended the academy in 2023. During my law enforcement career, I have attended multiple training sessions each year and continue to improve my skills. I have developed an interest in SFST and ARIDE procedures and continue to try to improve those skills. I appreciate the military-like environment and feel at home with my coworkers.
Very familiar with Chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense (CBRN defense)
