Gained valuable experience taking blood, weighing and calculating BMI, assisting in dental cleaning and pulling teeth, organizing patient paperwork, teaching patients how to stay healthy in Spanish and the native Peruvian language Quechua. Gained additional experience building a greenhouse in Cusco, Peru alongside the other medical volunteers.
