- Became a Large Assembly Mechanic disassembling and assembling anything from 1 HP to 3000 HP electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and generators. Diagnosing what went wrong and report what needs to fixed/changed, also test the motors and check for vibrations.
- Learned to balance rotors, impellers, fans, armatures, and shafts. Eventually taking over and becoming the primary balancer
- Also worked in the field helping remove motors, pumps and gearboxes. Additionally re-installed previously removed equipment.
