VAW Global Health Alliances (VAW Global) is a global health and development organization committed to cultivating sustainable and equitable partnerships with local communities. As a VAW Team Leader, I worked closely with local healthcare professionals and partners in Cusco, Peru, to implement primary medical clinics across low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Through the Medical Outreach program, I directed interns in understanding healthcare within a global context, encompassing disease diagnosis, treatment pathways, and clinic operations via shadowing, vital sign monitoring, and foundational pharmacology instruction with guidance from seasoned local physicians and staff.
