I chose to further my education at John Jay because they are the best in the country for Criminal Justice. Ever since I was in the 9th grade, I would always invest a majority of my time in watching Law and Order particularly SVU along with other crime shows and documentaries. It was always an interest of mine, and it encouraged me to want to pursue a career in law enforcement. My goal is to join the FBI and work in the Human Trafficking Task Force. I gained the wonderful opportunity and experience in studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark to learn more about human trafficking at a global context. My biggest inspiration for wanting to pursue a career in this field is my desire of always wanting to help others. Always making sure that people are okay is what keeps me motivated. I want to be able to help people who are too scared to reach out for help or have been secretly asking for help and still have yet to receive it. I want to make sure that all the people who are being treated horribly in this world are given the best care and can pursue all of what their heart desires.
