Worked as a scribe alongside of a Dermatologist. I was responsible for all aspects of the patients care from rooming the Patient and obtaining the vitals to assisting the Doctor with procedures, clean up and break down of instruments used. Scheduling follow up visits and calling patients to notify them of their Pathology results. I referled patients out as directed by the physician and obtain prior authorizations for medications.
