Samantha Sibley has worked for Mahi-Mahi Surf Resort as our main surf guide coordinator on three occasions for Peak season, 2023. During mid-April until mid-June, mid-August to mid- September and then during October.Her tasks consisted of hosting guest and taking them out to the best surf spots on the island. She was responsible for coordinating bigger groups (up to 15 surfers) and reporting to management on daily basis, as well as training up new surf guides. She also helped us out with our social media account due to her extended knowledge on the social media platform Instagram and worked closely with our photographer to create content with them. Since starting with us Samantha has grown into her roll and has never stopped improving. She comes into the work place with an attitude that she is here to learn and do her best and never takes for granted the work given to her. She thrives on feedback and does not shy away from hard work, is resilient and a fantastic team player!The main description of Samantha is loyalty, empathic, trustworthy, easy to work with and very driven when she sets her mind on something. It has been a pleasure to have a staff such as Samantha that is always looking for the best interest of the resort. Samantha got fabulously on with guests, other staff members and managers and we would love to have her back anytime. I have been a professional surfer since I was 13 years old. I have clocked countless hours in the ocean and have been surfing my entire life. Surfing is my passion and identity. I've been competing for several years in the WSL Qualifying Series and WSL Challenger Series. I've traveled the world and maintained a professional surfing career from a young age. I am organized and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic. I've been sponsored by numerous brands to represent them and create brand content. I have been employed by companies such as Billabong, SunBum, Sisstrevolution, Jacks Surf Shop, Salt Life, Sharpeye Surfboards, and many more. Due to the nature of my job I have extensive experience in content creation, social media management, and applied current editing and photography tools to tell great stories.
