• Proactively patrols assigned areas and performs all security related tasks, ensuring life safety standards are maintained.
• Investigates suspicious activity or persons, and/or reports hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to Security Operations.
• Acknowledges and responds appropriately to emergency, non-emergency, and alarm calls as assigned. Then uses good judgement to safely determine the alarm cause, takes appropriate actions and/or provides the proper assistance and direction in both emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Assists with the handling of psych patients when they become aggressive and/or uncooperative.
• Monitor facility and psych patients via the camera system.

Worksite One

• Patrolled interior and exterior of appointed facility, looking for trespassers, safety hazards, and Code of Conduct violations.
• Responded to alarms and tenant Security issues.
• Assisted management in seasonal/promotional events and projects.
• Filled out reports on incidents such as fires, power outages, slip and falls, thefts, and tenant assists.

Worksite Two

• Screened visitors and patients for weapons and other noncompliant items.
• Passed out masks, visitor/patient specific stickers, and gave directions for their destination.
• Performed pat downs for visitors/patients that could not go through a metal detector. (Heart monitors, pace makers, defibrillators.)
• Recorded the hourly traffic coming into the facility for records.
