Samuel Anchia

I worked Primarily with the marketing department on Social Media posts, specifically for Tik-Tok and Instagram. I would also help with the shooting and editing different Lectures and events in CAM's schedule, including a video to highlight Felix Gonzalez-Torres's work 'Untitled (L.A.) for the Feliz Gonzalez-Torres Foundation. Social media wise, I would photograph, Shoot, and edit reels together of different exhibits inside and outside of the museum with up to 2-3 or more a week.

I worked with Hometeam and the NC Education Lottery for a series of Youtube Ad's dedicated to the results of the education lottery, primarily focusing on a scholarship I receive every year. Throughout the shooting process I was able to share my work and progress as an independent filmmaker as well as talk about my work with a Independent Fashion brand, Dreamscape I have been working on with a colleague of mine. Throughout the process, I got to work one on one with director, as well as gain more experience in shooting B-roll and interviewing.

I worked on set as a PA, tasked with decorating the main protagonists' Room, as well as running errands to get supplies for the Kitchen and Dining room sections of the set.

I Directed a short this past semester written by a colleague of mine involving 2 different actors in a drama involving a married couple. It was a small crew of 4 people, so I also helped with gripping,gaffing, and editing the footage for the short. It was a two day shoot overall.

I worked on two different shoots in the art department for the upcoming short, 'For Every Breath'. The first day I worked one on one with Production Designer, Kristen Crouch to design the interior and exterior of the Protagonist's Mobile Home.

The second day I worked onset as an Art PA, helping design the kitchen set, as well as running errands for the Art department.

I started working with a colleague of mines Multimedia media brand, Dreamscape. Primarily focusing on Fashion and Shorts, I worked with conceptualizing a Fall 2023 collection, working as a Assistant Director for a photo/video shoot of the 'Dead Designer' collection. We also presented a fashion show for the collection in late October 2023, where I was in charge with designing the runway/stage as well as the interior and exterior of the Venue. I also walked in the show and helped choreograph the models before and during the show.

I worked as a lead actor in a short film for a UNCW Film department, focused on boxer and his trainer before match. I worked with a crew of about 5 people with 2 different directors for the project resulting in 2 different films from the shoot.

I worked on about a 20 crew set for a short titled 'Writers Block', working as Head Production department. I was in charge with working with the Directors and Producers on what ideas want to be presented. From there I collaborate with my team with different ideas, then budget based off of what gets approved and presenting multiple options for set days. It was a two day shoot overall and a great experience and how to work and guide a team, as well as execute the task at hand.
