I grew up in Marietta, GA and played baseball and football at Kell high school graduating with a 4.0 GPA. I am currently a Graduate Assistant at Georgia Southern University for the Georgia Southern Baseball team. I had the opportunity to play summer collegiate baseball three of four summers while in college. Two for the Piedmont Pride, Based in Rock Hill South Carolina, (now known as the Kingsmen). We went on mission’s trips to Alaska and the Dominican Republic. My last summer, I played in Washington D.C. for the D.C. Grays. Prior to college, I played summer baseball and participated in summer workouts for football all through high school, so I do not have a lot of work experience although I have done handy work on a farm. I have had many opportunities to do volunteer work due to my involvement in sports. My high school baseball and football teams were involved with Shop with a Longhorn where groups of players would take children to Walmart and help them Christmas shop for their families. The Georgia Southern Baseball team actively participates in similar activities such as Feed the Boro and helping clean up the facilities at Fostering Bulloch. I recently helped volunteer with Storm Servies to help with all of the damage due to Hurricane Helene.
