Business Owner
A Gutter Business Owner is responsible for owning, operating, and growing a residential and commercial gutter services company. This role combines hands-on technical work with business management, customer relations, and strategic planning to ensure high-quality service, profitability, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the gutter installation, repair, and maintenance business
- Perform or supervise gutter installations, repairs, cleanings, and inspections
- Manage customer inquiries, estimates, scheduling, and follow-ups
- Ensure all work meets safety standards, local codes, and company quality expectations
- Hire, train, and manage employees or subcontractors
- Purchase and maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials
- Develop pricing, prepare invoices, and manage billing and collections
- Handle budgeting, bookkeeping, and basic financial reporting
- Market the business through advertising, networking, and customer referrals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure high customer satisfaction
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of gutter systems, roofing, and exterior construction
