This role combines hands-on technical work with business management, customer relations, and strategic planning to ensure high-quality service, profitability, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the gutter installation, repair, and maintenance business
• Perform or supervise gutter installations, repairs, cleanings, and inspections
• Manage customer inquiries, estimates, scheduling, and follow-ups
• Ensure all work meets safety standards, local codes, and company quality expectations
• Hire, train, and manage employees or subcontractors
• Purchase and maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials
• Develop pricing, prepare invoices, and manage billing and collections
• Handle budgeting, bookkeeping, and basic financial reporting
• Market the business through advertising, networking, and customer referrals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors
• Resolve customer concerns and ensure high customer satisfaction

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of gutter systems, roofing, and exterior construction
• Proven ability to manage a small business or contracting operation
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to read measurements, blueprints, and job specifications
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Physical ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Basic computer skills for scheduling, invoicing, and marketing
