Above all else, a compassionate human who strives to learn and communicate the needs of refugees in my community. A detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy. A conscientious professional with extensive experience advocating for social and economic well-being of individuals and families that have been displaced. I am skilled at providing guidance, support and assistance to new refugees, something I have done for many years. It’s my belief that Communities are only as strong as their most vulnerable members and therefore passionate about uplifting refugees and immigrants. I am eager to use knowledge obtained through years of activism, serving on the Refuge Point Board of directors, and personal experience as a former refugee.
